A total of 120 hardware boards will be provided for this contest:

Entry Procedure

Registration (2024/7/9–2024/7/18)

① Please fill out the online entry information and your contest proposals

② RT-Thread official will review the proposals pick up the applications and send out the hardware to the selected applications.

Contest Period (2024/7/18–2024/9/18)

Project Submission (before 2024/9/18)

①Submit your work according to the format

② Title: [Hardware Model] + Title

③ Contents: Description of the function of the application, overview of the use of RT-Thread, hardware framework, description of the software framework, description of the software module, demo effect, and code address.

Project Review (2024/9/19–2024/9/29), ToP 10 entries will be selected.

Public Voting (2024/9/30–2024/10/10)

ToP10 projects will be publicized and voted on the official contest website, with rankings defined by community developer votes.

Contest Rules

Eligibility: Open to developers and students worldwide. Whether you are a professional developer or a beginner, if you have an interest in embedded system design, you are welcome to participate.

Team Composition: Participants can join individually or as part of a team. There is no limit to the number of team members, but a team leader must be clearly designated.

Theme requirements: Projects must be based on the RT-Thread operating system and centered around the theme of “Embedded Electronic Design.”

Submission: Participants must submit a complete project design document, including:

● Project Overview

● Functional introduction

● Hardware connection diagram

● Software code

Judging Criteria: Projects will be judged on innovation, technical difficulty, practicality, and presentation. Extra points will be awarded for code contributions such as bug fixes, drivers, and software packages submitted during the competition. The RT-Thread jury reserves the right to interpret the judging criteria.

Intellectual Property: Projects must be original and not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. Any plagiarism or cheating will result in disqualification.

Publicity and Display: Participants must allow the contest organizing committee to publicize and display their projects.

Disqualification: Participants who apply for a development board must submit their work on time. Failure to do so will require returning the board at their own expense.
